The Woodhouse Wine Estates

When the "Stay at home order" is lifted, Woodhouse and so many other business will restart operations.  With that in mind we would like to convey that we understand things will not just go back to normal.  For many of us there remains concern that the coronavirus won't disappear over night.  To that end, Woodhouse will implement safety recommendations issued by the CDC.  Additionally we will continuously check for any changes to those reccomendations.

Though we will be comenCing business as soon as we are able, it is our priority to ensure the safety of everyone.  The following is how we are preparing.

  • Reconfigured tasting room to significantly increase spacing between our tables and groups
  • We are using virus killing cleansers to disinfect tables tops, chairs and counter tops
  • Hand sanitizer dispenser has been placed at the entrance to the tasting room
  • Staff required to frequently wash/disinfect hands, POS devices, door handles, counter tops, bathroom surfaces
  • Isopropyl alcohol wipes provided to guests upon seating
  • Ceilings are more than 30 ft. high with active ventilation

People can catch COVID-19 from others who have the virus. The disease can spread from person to person through small droplets from the nose or mouth which are spread when a person with COVID-19 coughs or exhales. These droplets land on objects and surfaces around the person. Other people then catch COVID-19 by touching these objects or surfaces, then touching their eyes, nose or mouth. People can also catch COVID-19 if they breathe in droplets from a person with COVID-19 who coughs out or exhales droplets. This is why it is important to stay more than 1 meter (3 feet) away from a person who is sick.
